I love portraits the most...and while I don't imitate him...Rembrandt is my favorite painter.
Odd Nerdrum is one of my modern faves; cool figurative stuff.
The "nature" series is one of my longest themes. Butterflies and roses. I know, hokey as hell, right? Whatevs. I paint just what I feel. Georgia O'Keeffe did just fine with her flowers.
The "symbols" series is an older one...I may or may not return to them. Probably not. But they were fun while they lasted.
